Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2, 2026

This policy explains what information ThriftPop collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

2. How we use it

To run the marketplace: showing listings, matching sizes (Fit Match), delivering messages and notifications, processing orders, calculating shipping, preventing fraud, and improving the app. We do not sell your personal information.

3. AI features

When you use the AI Listing Assistant or visual search, the photos you choose are sent securely to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the listing suggestion or search match, then the suggestion is returned to you. Photos are used to provide the feature, not to build advertising profiles.

4. Where your data lives

Your data is stored with our backend provider, Supabase (Postgres database and file storage), protected by row-level security so users can only access what they are allowed to see. Payment data lives with Stripe. Shipping labels, when enabled, are created through our shipping partner (EasyPost).

5. Sharing

We share information only as needed to run the service: your username and listings are public; your shipping address goes to the seller of an item you bought; service providers (Supabase, Stripe, Anthropic, EasyPost) process data on our behalf; and we may disclose information if the law requires it.

6. Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile and listings, block users, and delete your account by contacting support@thriftpopapp.com. Deleting your account removes your personal data except records we must keep, such as completed order and tax records. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights (access, correction, deletion, portability); email us to exercise them.

7. Children

ThriftPop is not for children under 13, and users must be 18 or older to buy or sell.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in the app. Questions or requests: support@thriftpopapp.com.
